Tim Bogert died on January 13, 2021. Tim, who had cancer, died at the age of 76 after a long illness. Even after making his debut at VANILLA FUDGE in 1967, he has performed countless famous performances such as activities with CACTUS, Billy Cobham, and Rod Stewart. The performance went beyond being a mere master bassist, and even led to the evolution of music itself from art rock to blues rock to hard rock.
Tim has left a wonderful Onga in a number of bands / projects, but the most memorable thing for us Japanese is the strongest trio with Jeff Beck & Carmine Appice, BECK, BOGERT & APPICE. Probably. Now that Tim's footsteps are in the spotlight, we have decided to restock the press daimyo board so that as many people as possible can experience the great achievements of the base strike.
This week, 3 major titles of BECK, BOGERT & APPICE will be restocked, but this work is the earliest recording among them, but the one that was born most recently. It is a new masterpiece "SEATTLE 1973" excavated in 2018.
It was "April 26, 1973 Seattle performance" that was imbued with such a work. Jeff Beck's first visit to Japan was in May 1973, so it was a concert about three weeks ago. It is the best audience recording.
