The Hollywood Bowl in the summer of 1965 was hot ... I can't help but think so again. The new Beatles performed live here on August 29th and 30th, remembering the CD release of the live album. Less than a week after the enthusiastic Beatles show, Bob Dylan, with the band, is giving a concert. What a dense time it is! In 1965, British and American rock giants were on stage at the Hollywood Bowl, respectively.
It is well known that the Beatles had a regular live recording by Capitol, but in fact, Dylan's stage also has a sound board recording. Officially, a spectacular box set for the 1966 tour will be released soon, but in 1965, which was Dylan's "first year of electric", there are very few live recordings that led the band. It was the Hollywood Bowl sound board recording that was unearthed in such a situation and caused a great whirlwind in the late 90's.
Speaking of Dylan Live in 1965, it was the Newport Folk Festival in July. A big incident of playing gingin rock at a folk music festival. Furthermore, the appearance and hit of the famous song "Like A Rolling Stone". No one can stop Dylan's rock orientation ... It's a famous story that he started to lead the band to the usual live stage and caused controversy.
