This edition captures the American tour of Delaney & Bonnie & Friends during the time when Eric Clapton was participating. This is a press 2 CD that completely recorded the performance twice a day at Fillmore West, San Francisco on February 21, 1970, from a very good audience source at that time. This sound source has an existing board, but this time, I am using the low generation master that has appeared in recent years and transferred the open reel to DAT. If you compare it with the existing board, it is obvious (ear). There is no intense hiss noise heard throughout the entire board. It's as if the veil that had been covered up until now has been removed. Therefore, the sound quality is much clearer. You can see that the generation is completely different from the master of the existing board. We have conducted a more detailed examination and corrected the pitch that was about 30% lower than the semitone (the pitch of the existing board is even lower). Although the value of this board has increased sufficiently just by improving the sound quality and normalizing the pitch, advanced mastering has made it possible to further improve the sound quality. Pinpoint reduction and elimination of high-pitched dial tones and analog noise such as clicks throughout. After that, the bass to midrange was suppressed in the minus direction, and the treble range was adjusted in the plus direction. As a result, the outline of the guitar and vocals is considerably higher than that of the original sound, and it is easier to distinguish between Clapton and Delaney guitars. You will surely be satisfied with this improvement in sound quality as much as possible.
