I'm in Japan right now! Eric Clapton. In commemoration of his 22nd Japan tour, which has landed in Japan in a lively manner, we will release a surprising upgrade master this week as well! The sound source released this time is Steve Hopkins' master cassettes (Dolby B encoded) by JEMS, which is a complete recording of the 1975 US tour and the Springfield performance on June 24th with ultra-high quality stereo audience recording. Just 10 years ago, in 2009, it was made into a sound source from the same JEMS sound source, but there was a difference in the freshness and depth of the sound so that it can be asserted that this time is clearly the master quality of the original. Although the sound quality of the existing board is high, it is obvious (listening) when compared with the extension of high-pitched sounds such as cymbals and the low low-pitched hum noise. I decided to release it on the press board immediately because of the difference in grade. Originally, this source was on the tour in 1975, and it was highly evaluated as one of the "four great sound sources" due to the high play quality of Clapton. The recording by the famous taper Steve Hopkins, Sony ECM-99a Stereo Mic and Sony TC-152SD, is a wonderful recording by the high-end models of the time, and it is the highest peak of stereo audience recording that surpasses the stereo sound board. As such, it is a sound source that is still receiving unwavering reputation. Therefore, it has been released from multiple labels in the past. This time, JEMS has further refined the Omoto Master to the upper level. It can be said that it completely reproduces the dimension as if you were actually in a concert venue, which is different from the sound board in terms of presence and sound spread. Furthermore, the pitch, which was slightly higher in the original, is adjusted exactly. In addition, there was a part that was slightly shorter than the existing source, so that part was patched from the existing board to achieve the longest version with the highest sound quality. However, please be assured that the patch part was not an important part of the song (see ★ in the song list for details). It is simply the result of trying to achieve the highest sound quality and longest version. Now, let's look back on Clapton's activities this year and review the implications of this concert.
