商品説明
"WORLD ROCK FESTIVAL" is Jeff Beck's second visit to Japan (first solo visit to Japan). Among them, the longest and complete recording of the "August 5, 1975: Aichi Gymnasium" performance, which is famous as a "miracle masterpiece", is the first live album in history.
This Nagoya performance was only a daimyo performance and has been archived with many titles. Among them, "DEFINITION OF BLOW" has reigned at the highest peak. Of course, it is a masterpiece among masterpieces that was sold out or out of print while it was very popular, but this work is an expanded and complete version. It is the first live album in history that reproduces the day without leaking a second, from the MC that introduces the organizer by making full use of the currently known recording to the last legendary MC "Thank you very much." If you know "DEFINITION OF BLOW", you have already decided. For those who don't, let's start from the beginning ...
This 1975 visit to Japan was unprecedented in the history of Jeff's visit to Japan. The last performance in New Orleans was at an outdoor stadium, but it was raining there. That caused Jeff to catch a cold. After that, he continued the tour while watching his physical condition, but some performances took a doctor stop and cancellations continued. Let's look back on the schedule at that time to imagine the flow.
・ July 26: New Orleans performance (rainy weather)
・ July 28: Atlanta performance (cancelled)
・ July 30: Hawaii performance
<< Arrive in Japan after 15:00 on August 3rd >>
・ August 3: Makomanai Stadium (Sapporo)
・ August 5; Aichi Gymnasium [this work]
・ August 6: Maruyama Park Amphitheater (Kyoto: Canceled)
・ August 7: Korakuen Stadium (Tokyo)
・ August 9: Sugou Trailland (Sendai: Canceled)
When I performed a live performance while resting in Hawaii in the everlasting summer, my condition worsened. He arrived in Japan in the afternoon of the day of the Sapporo performance on the first day. However, his physical condition has recovered, probably because he has been resting in Hawaii until the last minute. As expected, the Sapporo performance that slipped in on the day was slapstick, but the next Nagoya performance regained its original brilliance, and it became a show full of enthusiasm that was expected to recover.
