For the Rolling Stones in 1976, one of the highlights of the European tour in England was the series of performances at Earl's Court. As was the case with Led Zeppelin in 1975, Earl's Court was used instead of Wembley Stadium as the venue for large crowds in London at the time. In 1976, Stones had six performances at the same venue, with a day off (May 24th). Soundboard recordings have been unearthed on May 22nd and 25th, and items have been released on audience recordings on May 23rd, 26th and 27th. Furthermore, in 2016, although there was only one song "Hey Negrita", the outtake from the multitrack recording for the live album "LOVE YOU LIVE" leaked out, which is a new memory.
Although it was Earl's Court in 1976, which was blessed with sound sources and items in this way, the only show that has never been released so far is May 21st. Audience recordings existed on this day, and at the beginning of the 21st century, they were on the market among CD-R traders. However, it is undeniable that it is a recording state for mania compared to the sound sources of other days mentioned above, and because of that, it was a day when no items were released until now. In this regard, the sound image that is a little far away may have become a ghost.
However, it is a problem that the sound quality is lower than that of Earl's Court and other days, and it is a fact that it is a sound source that can be heard sufficiently from the whole 1976 tour. I think that the Dortmund performance on June 1st can be mentioned as a sound source of 1976 that has the same tendency as this, but it is clear that this one is in a state where it can be heard much more than that. Rather, if you are a maniac who is accustomed to recording audiences, you can enjoy it with plenty of time.
