From the UK tour accompanying "A Day at the Races" in 1977, the Glasgow performance on May 30th, which is famous as an excellent sound source, is released in the first complete recording board. In the previous release, there was a defect in Keep Yourself Alive 1: 04-1: 25 in the latter half of the show, and Jaihouse Rock recorded only a little less than 1 minute 30 seconds, but this board uses the complete recording version (2nd Gen tape). By compensating for the missing part, we have realized the first recording of all songs including God Save The Queen, which first appeared in the last. Also includes Freddie's MC, "Thank you Good Night, Glasgow! Thank you" in front of God Save The Queen. As you can tell by listening to it with a hard tune such as Brighton Rock, this wonderful show has a sharp and clear sound that is the original charm of the master, unlike the existing ones that have a texture that seems to have exploded because the sound pressure was raised too much. You can enjoy it. In the first half of the show, the voice of the audience, mainly between songs, is a negative factor, but the sound is getting better and better as the show progresses, and the disc 2 that recorded the second half of the show is especially wonderful. The groove of the performance is well captured, and it is a fairly high-grade recording for this period, and you can enjoy the vigorous performance that is typical of the 1977 tour. Not to mention race numbers such as Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy, Millionaire Waltz, You Take My Breath Away, Death On Two Legs, Sweet Lady played alone in the middle, and White Man with powerful performances. Prophet's Song, where Freddie's delay chorus creates a mysterious world, is the best listening place. In the middle of Killer Queen, I mixed the word Glasgow and sang it. Bohemian Rhapsody's Nothing really matters audience chorus is in a good mood. The groove feeling of Keep Yourself Alive is also wonderful. It's also nice that the audience screams at Freddie's fanfare in the middle of Now I'm Here. Liar's dynamism on this day, which everyone listens to silently, is a great word. It is a very good performance that you can feel the vibration of lively performance and the groove as a European hard rock band that are gradually lost after this period. A moving piece that captures the best time as a Queen live band. It will be released on a limited edition of 200 press CDs.
