"CROSS PURPOSES TOUR 1994" where all the "executives" of Sabas's history were gathered together and all the charms were sublimated into one show. The special live album is here.
Generally, it was the "CROSS PURPOSES" era, which had a slightly half-finished image, but the contents were strong enough for maniacs who love all eras, and were deeply engraved in their minds. Master: Not to mention Tony Iommi, but it is Geezer Butler, who is the incarnation of heavyness, and Tony Martin, who is the incarnation of the stylized melody. And not only the members but also the album "CROSS PURPOSES" had "beauty" and "heavy" lined up nicely. The melody is forever beautiful, the song development is crisp and heavy. No matter where you cut it, it's full of Sabas-likeness, yet its fusion is more intense than in any other era. It was an era in which the "charm of Sabas", which had changed over time, was condensed into one. This work is a live album that cuts out such "CROSS PURPOSES TOUR" with a wonderful 100% sound.
"April 19, 1994 Utrecht performance" is included in this work. First, as always, let's imagine the position from the big picture of the world tour.
・ February 8-March 13: North America (25 performances)
・ March 21-27: Japan (5 performances)
・ April 11-May 28: Europe (34 performances) ← ★ Coco ★
・ June 11: PROVINSSI ROCK FESTIVAL
《Bobby Rondinelli → Bill Ward change》
・ August 27-September 4: South America (4 performances)
Above, all 68 performances. The Utrecht performance of this work is the sixth performance of the "Europe" leg, which is the core of the world tour.
This work is a wonderful audience recording. It's not like a "sound board" type, but extremely clear musical tones and singing voices reach straight like a laser beam. Along with its clearness, the balance is wonderful. In audience recording, the bass, which tends to be a weak point, is captured firmly, and the balance with the mid-high range is wonderful. Not only that, the balance of each instrument, the balance of the stereo sense, the balance of cheers and performances, the balance of the core of the musical tone and the sound of the venue sound ... all of which are recorded on an extremely beautiful balance.
