The finest stereo sound board that has symbolized the legendary first visit to Japan has been brushed up. One piece that updates the highest peak is now available as a permanent storage press CD.
[Leaked sound board completely different from FM broadcasting]
Such a symbolic sound board was recorded in "November 18, 1980: Nakano Sunplaza performance". The show is famous for having FM broadcasts from that time, but this work is the same show but different. It is a leaked stereo sound board recording that was excavated in the 90's. Speaking of their first visit to Japan, they have archived a number of masterpieces, including the recently released masterpiece "DEFINITIVE OSAKA 1980 (Zodiac 382)". First, let's organize the collection by schedule.
・ November 16: Nakano Sunplaza (evening part) "FACE OF EVIL"
・ November 16: Nakano Sunplaza (night section)
・ November 17: Nippon Seinenkan "DEFINITIVE BUER"
・ November 18: Nakano Sunplaza ← ★ Coco ★
× November 19: Nakano Sunplaza (cancelled)
・ November 20: Kyoto Kaikan "KYOTO 1980"
・ November 21: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall "DEFINITIVE OSAKA 1980"
Above, all 6 performances. Four performances were scheduled at Nakano Sunplaza, but Tony Iommi was addicted to oysters on the third "November 18th". It became impossible to continue until "Iron Man", and the next day's show was so severe that it was canceled. FM broadcasting by a certain broadcasting association has become a big standard for the show, but the leaked sound board excavated in later years was totally different. The full version of the day, which also included "Supertzar" and "War Pigs" that had been cut in the broadcast (as mentioned above, the show was interrupted without an encore due to Iommi's sudden illness) is terrible. The mix is even more intense. I don't know who was in charge of the FM broadcast version of the mix, but the overall image was melodic and romantic, and it was a RAINBOW-like world view. However, the leaked version has a very thick and fierce core, and Iommi's guitar and Geezer's bass are violently rampaging.
