Since the remix version "HIGHWAY 61 REMIXED" of Bob Dylan's rare masterpiece has been released, many enthusiasts should have expected the release of the remix version of the next work "BLONDE ON BLONDE". This is also possible, of course, as a new mix was created when the 2015 Sessions Collector's Edition was released. In the first place, "BLONDE ON BLONDE" is sometimes called a masterpiece, and boasts an exceptional long-selling album among Dylan's albums. Because of that, the album master when it was released in 1966 quickly saw the worries of aging. It is also an unusual album that the mix was remade from time to time. In the first place, new mixes were made as early as the LP era, and several remix versions were made on CDs.

However, all the conventional mixes were made with the aim of reprinting the original mix of 1966, and the stereo images are not significantly different. On the flip side, even in the CD era, old-fashioned stereo mixes with extreme separation like the 1960s continued to be made. Even the current mix, which was made in 2003 with SACD, followed that image.
