Following the popular performance in Japan, this year's Dylan toured Europe. Of course, the live set list continued to feature songs from recent albums, but at some live concerts such as festival appearances, it suddenly changed to a set list featuring major songs from the past, all over the world. Surprise the fans. That development happened on last year's European tour, but it's also surprising to fans that it's been more frequent this year. Again, Dylan and the band proved to be a rock-solid combination, this summer they could boldly change their setlists at any time.
Recorded the Gothenburg performance on July 15th, which was one of the live performances with plenty of famous songs in the past, on such a set list drastic change day. It is a sound source that has become popular among fans all over the world for the above reason, but the audience recording currently on the market has frequent microphone contact noise on the right channel side in the first half of the live, and even older songs were played. Therefore, the excitement of the audience and the chat appeared in a state of difficulty that it was jarring. Since the original recording itself boasts a very on sound image and outstanding clearness, the state of this sound source can only be said to be disappointing.
However, since it has been a long time since the set of famous songs, and the sound quality itself is the best, as a result of thoroughly removing noise and alleviating the voice of the audience, it has been reborn into a state where it is easy to listen at once (the volume level is also adjusted). Anyway, it was a hot topic, so I would like Dylan fans who got the original sound source to listen and compare. In particular, "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" in the first half is exciting from the beginning, probably because it is a major in the major song, and in the second half, women sing enthusiastically (though it can not be deleted). …). The noise that comes in several times after that is completely removed.
Even so, the audience is excited because it is an on-parade of famous songs. I start singing if it's a vintage number like the one above, but on the other hand, it seems that I start talking as soon as a recent song such as "Cry A While" starts, and the taper probably "shut up" to the surroundings. The appearance of paying attention many times is so tearful. It is remembered that the situation was extremely stressful for the recording side. However, I was really fortunate that the performance itself continued to be captured even when such a situation occurred.
