商品説明
CHICAGO in 1971, which made a big hit with three major works and became a big game that was neither pushed nor pushed. A new excavation sound board album that conveys such a time is now available.
The content of this work is "March 17, 1971 Nakadoches Performance". That sound board recording. Speaking of 1971, it started with "Chicago III", but it was also a year of producing historic masterpieces one after another, such as "AT CARNEGIE HALL" and "Chicago V". First, let's look back on the schedule and confirm the position of the show.
"January 11th" Chicago III "released"
・ January 20-March 26: North America # 1a (40 performances) ← ★ Coco ★
・ April 5th-May 23rd: North America # 1b (32 performances) ← * "AT CARNEGIE HALL"
・ June 1-10: Europe (10 performances)
・ June 11-19: Asia / Hawaii (5 performances)
・ July 12-September 16: North America # 2 (37 performances)
"September 20-29" Chicago V "production"
・ October 20-November 27: North America # 3 (23 performances)
This is CHICAGO in 1971. Shortly after the release of "Chicago III," the tour "North America # 1" started, and the schedule can be roughly divided into two. The traditional work "AT CARNEGIE HALL" was born from the beginning of the latter half "North America # 1b", but the Nacogdoches performance of this work is just before that. It was the 35th performance of "North America # 1a", and it was a concert about 3 weeks before "AT CARNEGIE HALL".
This work recorded at such a show is a sound board recording that was recently excavated, and its quality is the best. Although the spectacle is not as good as "AT CARNEGIE HALL" because it is monaural, the sound quality itself is not defeated at all. A beautifully separated ensemble of 7 people is poured directly into the brain, and you can fully enjoy Terry Kath's energetic vocals and hot guitar with a great direct feeling. As a matter of fact, I can tell you that it was a little scratched, but I can only say "Please listen to it anyway!"
