David Bowie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Introducing a soundboard album that combines the sounds of two talents. This work was recorded on "April 26, 1983". This is a rehearsal of "SERIOUS MOONLIGHT TOUR 1983" in Dallas.
Speaking of "rehearsal album with SRV", the definitive press CD "DALLAS REHEARSALS 1983 (Wardour-208)" became very popular. This work is similar to that masterpiece and is different. While "DALLAS REHEARSALS 1983" was "April 27", this work is a rehearsal of "April 26" the day before. Even though it's a soundboard from the same studio, it's a completely different rehearsal album in terms of performance and content.
If you have listened to "DALLAS REHEARSALS 1983", you may have already decided, but for those who do not know it, I will review it.
Bowie, who tried to transform himself from a cult hero, created "LET'S DANCE" using SRV, which was unknown at the time. Coupled with the disco boom and the movie "Merry Christmas, Mr. Battlefield", he will become a pop star. With that extra momentum, I will embark on the world tour "SERIOUS MOONLIGHT TOUR" for the first time in four years, but the original guitarist was planning to have the same SRV as the album. Unfortunately, SRV abandoned participation before the tour started, but he did participate until the rehearsal. The rehearsal has been popular for a long time, with two days' worth of soundboards leaking out. The highest peak sound board board of "April 27" is "DALLAS REHEARSALS 1983", and the highest peak of "April 26" is this work.
