After the release of "COME TASTE THE BAND" in 1975, from the first and last Japan tour for the 4th DEEP PURPLE, the Nagoya City Assembly Hall performance on December 8th, the first day, was the original cassette master recorded by Miracle Man. More sound board! With an ultra-high-quality audience source that completely surpasses the same-day sound sources known in the past, the special premiere in Japan will be vividly revived. A must-see for all DEEP PURPLE enthusiasts, this is a 105-minute full-length version, a 2-disc, fully-limited press CD!
With the withdrawal of Ritchie Blackmore, DEEP PURPLE is on the verge of "band dissolution". However, members such as David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes, as well as record labels and managers, supported the band's survival, so the band sought to continue with new guitarists.
That's where Tommy Bolin, who has experience working at ZEPHER and JAMES GANG, appeared. Despite its completely different musicality from Ritchie, Tommy and the band's session was lively and gave the band new possibilities. Tommy himself decided to join the band, inspired by the playability of Lord and Pace, who have the depth of British rock. This is where the 4th DEEP PURPLE was born. The new work "COME TASTE THE BAND" recorded in Munich in August 1975 was announced in November. The band also started a world tour from the Pacific region including the Hawaii Honolulu performance on November 2nd as a warm-up.
