On January 23, 1976, New York recorded the second day performance of Radio City Music Hall with the best audience recording. It is an astonishing master quality version of a completely different master from the same day's "New York 1976" (Langley) whose date is mistakenly stated as 22nd. From the opening Burn, it is recorded with the highest sound quality as an audience recording of the 4th period purple, and it will surprise enthusiasts. There is no head cut of Lady Luck that had a cut in the previous release (MC between songs is also recorded uncut). In Lady Luck, the bass is a little boosted, but it will gradually improve. Instead, the drums and organ are clear, so you don't feel uncomfortable. After Lady Luck's performance, David sings "New York New York" and the standard. Love Child is also recorded with a thick and wonderful sound. The 13-minute funky Gettin'Tighter brings Glen's intense bass and vocals to life. John's percussive organ judgment is also excellent, and he handles funk numbers without any problems. After the song is over, Glenn is trying to stop the fight in the hall, MC says, "Wait a minute. There is no violence." Following David's usual song introduction, Smoke On The Water will be sung by Glenn's stunning vocals in the 6th minute, and you can enjoy a moving time.
