"A miracle in a miracle". "August 16, 1972: Osaka Festival Hall", which occupies most of the famous board "LIVE IN JAPAN". The new master is here.
Two types of new excavations for the first visit to Japan will appear this week. One is "OSAKA 1972 1ST NIGHT (Darker Than Blue 243/244)" which contains the first day. And the second day is this work. Actually, these two are direct CDs of the cassette master brought from the same original route. It is a decisive board that contains all the parts that have been cut off in the already-loved ones in the press CD. It's a long time ago, but let's confirm the two positions in the legendary first visit to Japan.
・ August 15: Osaka Festival Hall "OSAKA 1972 1ST NIGHT"
・ August 16: Osaka Festival Hall [this work]
・ August 17: Nippon Budokan
This is the 3 days that produced the treasure board "LIVE IN JAPAN" in the history of rock. All of them were well-known performances suitable for the name of "miracle", but the second day "August 16" is famous as "a miracle in a miracle". After all, most of "LIVE IN JAPAN", "Highway Star", "Child In Time", "Strange Kind Of Woman" and "Space Truckin'", which are two and a half of the four analog sides, were recorded on this day. If Martin Birch at the time thought "let's recreate the best day", it would have been "August 16th".
This work is an audience album that records such a famous performance. Like "OSAKA 1972 1ST NIGHT", the recording itself is the same as "LIVE IN JAPAN COMPLETE (Darker Than Blue 044-049)", but it is neither a remaster nor a recurrence. It is digitized from a completely different cassette master. In this cassette, the "sound" that had been scraped off was also left behind.
