1990 was a year of radical change in Dylan's live band. "FROM GRAND REX TO HAMMERSMITH" captured the live performance of the band with GE Smith, but GE announced that he would withdraw from the Dylan band in the summer. However, after that situation, GE officially left the band in October, two guitarists who took over from him filled the hole, and the tour continued until November. However, due to the impression that GE, which supported the golden age from 1988, which was named Never Ending Tour, was absent, the number of releases that captured the live performance of this period remains extremely small.
Although high-quality sound sources had already been produced in Dylan's taper world since the 1990s, the release that captured the stage after leaving GE was a lonely situation where only a rare repertoire was put together.
