商品説明
The second of Bowie's superb archive series "DBAS". Following the first collection of teens is the phantom official album that has been stored. "BBC SESSIONS 1969-1972" is a compilation of BBC sessions from the 1960s and 70s.
Speaking of Bowie's early BBC, the official work "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" comes to mind, but of course this work is different. In fact, there was a similar BBC archive project in 1996, and the sample board "BBC SESSIONS 1969–1972 (Sampler)" was released. However, after that, there was a problem with the license and the sale was discontinued. It was in storage. Four years later, "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" was released, but the contents were actually different. "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" was the best edit selected from each session, but looking at the songs that were scheduled to be released, "BBC SESSIONS 1969-1972" was a complete recording session. Moreover, the sound was different than that. The sound quality of the above-mentioned sample board and "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" are different, and even with the same take, the sample board sounded better. That's why world enthusiasts were anxious for the original "BBC SESSIONS 1969-1972" that was supposed to be released.
