商品説明
The second Japan tour realized during the Berlin era in 1978. Introducing a 4-disc definitive board that summarizes the Tokyo performance with the works of the same recording artist. This work is a compilation of recordings that were once released as "BEAUTY" and "BEAUTY" on the MASTERPORT label. First, let's check the schedule of the 1978 Japan Tour.
・ December 6, 1978: Osaka Kosei Nenkin Kaikan
・ December 7, 1978: Osaka Kosei Nenkin Kaikan
・ December 9, 1978: Osaka Expo Memorial Hall
・ December 11, 1978: Nippon Budokan [this work]
・ December 12, 1978: NHK Hall [this work]
In this way, "LOW AND HEROES JAPAN TOUR 1978" has 5 performances in total. Tokyo was placed at the end, and it was a two-day continuous performance in different places. In this work, Bowie's first performance at Nippon Budokan "December 11" is recorded on discs 1 and 2, and NHK Hall performance "December 12" is recorded on discs 3 and 4. Until then, this year's Tokyo performance was limited to the broadcast of the "Young Music Show" by a certain public broadcaster, but that was a limited content within the one-hour program. With the advent of this recording, the concert at that time became completely audible for the first time.
