商品説明
"Wembley Stadium" was the site of that "LIVE AID" and "Freddie Memorial Concert". The original cassette of the prestigious Kinney that vacuum-packed the solo performance held at that huge venue is a new excavation.
Bowie has stood on the stage at Wembley Stadium (not the arena) six times. However, most of them were festival-style event participation. In addition to the above "LIVE AID" and "Freddie Memorial Concert", "CONCERT FOR HOPE" in 1993, "NET AID" in 1999 ... Under such circumstances, only two performances "June 19th + 20th, 1987" became a dignified solo concert. This work is a 4-disc set where you can experience the full show of Wembley Stadium, which was only two nights in Bowie's life.
The "Wembley Stadium performance" cannot be easily done even by the rock giants, but it was realized because Bowie at that time reigned in the scene as a darling of the times. First of all, let's confirm the position of the show from the whole picture of such "GLASS SPIDER TOUR".
・ March 17-30: Promo show (9 times)
"April 20" NEVER LET ME DOWN "released"
・ May 29-July 18: Europe (27 performances) ← ★ Coco ★
・ July 30-October 14: North America (44 performances) ← * Official CD
・ October 29-November 28: Oceania (15 performances) ← * Official video
This is Bowie in 1987. From this tour, the official DVD "GLASS SPIDER" and the official CD "GLASS SPIDER (LIVE MONTREAL '87)" that was remastered last year are also left, but the Wembley Stadium performance of this work is much earlier than those. .. It was also the 11th / 12th performance of the "Europe" leg.
