Bowie was pioneering a new horizon with his ambitious work "EARTHLING" at the turning point of 50 years old. The superb stereo sound board album is here.
At our shop, Bowie's musical life is archived in total, and "1997" has delivered many masterpiece albums. Each one is shining brightly, but "NEW YORK MAN (Wardour-262)" is indispensable for introducing this work. This work is one that should be called a sister edition of that masterpiece sound board album. If you've been impressed by "NEW YORK MAN", you've probably already decided, but not all of them. Let's explain step by step.
[The highest peak sound board in history finished by researchers]
First of all, the main part of this work is the full sound board recording of "October 14, 1997 Port Chester performance". This show was not an ordinary concert, but a special performance for the MTV program "LIVE FROM THE 10 SPOT". Moreover, it wasn't Bowie who originally appeared. Originally it was a live broadcast program in which THE ROLLING STONES appeared, but just before that, Mick Jagger suddenly became ill and was canceled. MTV, who couldn't easily crush the live broadcast slot, offered instead to Bowie, who happened to have an empty schedule. It was a show that was realized in a hurry.
The program was successfully broadcast on TV, but this work is not the program itself. Actually, before the live broadcast started, three songs "The Supermen", "Panic In Detroit" and "Voyeur Of Utter Destruction (As Beauty)" were performed as a test at the site. Later, a professional shot video recorded from related sources to the test version was leaked, but this work is a full-length sound board including the test version.
